#WEPFF – FEBRUARY 2018 CHALLENGE – IN TOO DEEP

Welcome to WEP - Write...Edit...Publish and the first Challenge of 2018 -- IN TOO DEEP.

February, stereotypically the month for Valentine’s and love, but the WEP’s open to all genres, not just romance. However, if you want to go down the romance path, awesome, but please, no erotica.

In Too Deep is a prompt for any situation with the potential for unforeseen conflict. Or it could be literal – a flood, a hurricane, a mining disaster, you name it. As always, the badge depicts how wide open the subject is. There are a million possible takes.

Love. War, and anything in between. An affair sours. A hobby (hubby?) goes berserk. An addiction teeters on the edge of out-of-hand. A sports tournament goes horribly wrong.

Let your creativity soar!

And to make sure your post is picked up quickly, add "WEP" to the title!

Don't forget to share the Challenge

    3. It might be because the button is above the badge and the box to add your link opens under the picture. You just need to scroll. Funny that on here it's at the top, on my blog is under the names. Odd. But it does work!

  4. Hello to the four of you and although it is February, Happy New Year and much success with the WEP.
Can't believe how fast January passed by me.
I'm looking forward to reading some exciting entries from my fellow writers and also to submitting stories from the passage that I have entered.

  5. This should be an interesting challenge. Hopefully I can comment on non wordpress entries, since I constantly have issues commenting on blogspot entries for some reason. from:christopherscottauthor.wordpress.com

    1. Christopher, I recently changed to WordPress after 11 years at Blogspot and my received comments have increased by a third!

    2. Christopher, I don't know why this happens to some people. I started a WP blog for that very reason, but I've neglected it. I like the way WP tells your followers when you have a new post.

    3. Especially since Blogspot is run by Google, you think the browser Google makes would prevent that issue from frequently occurring.Firefox seems to work better then Chrome when it comes to commenting on Blogspot entries for some reason.

  14. Commentary on Wordpress blogs: couldn't comment on one at all, and two others want to force me to use a different name. So there were three stories which I read and couldn't comment on without going through hoops. Alas.

    1. Yes DG. It happens. Yolanda, Roland and I overcame this problem by creating a WP blog in a few minutes. I use mine occasionally. Truth is, I did it in response to the WP bloggers who couldn’t comment on my blogspot blog. Perhaps as some have done, leave a comment for those people here and we can alert them. No easy solution.
