ReplyDeleteDear Denise,
Interesting idea for this challenge. I hope that I am not overly optimistic when I sign up this early. I'll comment again when my link is alive.
Best wishes,
Anna
I'm in, Denise, and I'm using a continuation on this one from a previous WEP, The Louvre Letter.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna and D.G. I was getting lonely up there. I'm looking forward to the intriguing stories you ladies will come up with. Seeing I am flat out with my novel, I am reposting a story set in the Australian outback which suits the challenge. Yay!!
ReplyDeleteI've finished writing my story titled: Mirror, mirror. No faeries, but I think you'll like it anyway. I'll post on Sept. 23 at midnight my time which will be the 24th for many of you. Next month, ghost. Wonder what I'll come up with then. Hehe,
ReplyDeleteNancy
I always look forward to your stories, Nancy.
DeleteSome ideas are brewing in my head right now. Hope I get it down in time :)
ReplyDeleteOh Anne, I hope you do!
DeleteI've started something so now I'll have to finish it having submitted my name.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll manage it Sally!
DeleteI've done a rough draft. For some reason, Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams' (Are Made of this) was playing in my head as I wrote it. Today has been a productive day, Denise. I've also done a draft of my post for Nila's blog. Thankful for days like this...
ReplyDeleteSerious like! Wishing you, and everyone else here, many more productive days.
DeleteMy Mumma Told Me There'd be Days Like This - Van Morrison. Love it. Glad you're powering along Adura!! Can't wait to read your post at Nila's.
DeleteThat song, Sweet Dreams, is one of my faves, too.
DeletePosted mine this morning. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks LInda. I'll be around asap.
DeleteBoth my Sept entry for the prompt and Adura's guest post are now live on my blog. Thank you as always for your support.
ReplyDeleteWill be back later to read.
Have a great day, Denise and everyone else here.
Nila thanks for letting me know you have Adura up now!!
DeleteLinked up my story. Enjoyed reading the other entries. Now I feel mine was too simple and predictable :(
ReplyDeleteYours is lovely Anne!!
DeleteThanks Denise, that's very encouraging.
DeleteHi everyone.
ReplyDeleteToday my oldest goes into the hospital for a scope. Normally, no big deal, but she stopped breathing twice before when anesthetized and we are all a little afraid. Her name is Anika. So if you read this in time please pray. I'll let you know how it goes.
Nancy
Hope all goes well, my best wishes and thoughts are with you.
DeleteSo glad that all was well..:)
DeleteI've just posted my contribution, having just got back from a short break.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally
DeleteThanks for your prayers. My daughter Anika sailed through just fine and didn't stop breathing. I prayed that the Lord Jesus would send His angels to guard her and that Jesus would be her breath. She had a wonderful dream while under. She said, "Mom, I dreamt of a garden with all my favorite flowers. There were hyacinths, tulips and daffodils and more. And evergreen trees, my favorite. And there was the most beautiful singing." I believe she dreamt of heaven.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful and a relief Nancy. What a beautiful dream and interpretation. I trust Anika will continue to build in health.
Delete1853: An age is ending; something monstrous is growing; and the faces you see around you are lies. I hope you like my CHANGING FACES post. :-)
ReplyDeleteA great story Roland.
DeleteThanks Denise.

ReplyDeleteDear Denise and WEPers!
My link is now alive.
Sorry I am so late.
It has been a week filled of near-disasters. For example, my daughter who has been at home with a cold, took a shower on Monday afternoon and the floor-drain was too slow. She just kept rinsing her hair without looking and flooded the bathroom and hallway. The floors are ruined.
Hope you all are well and happy.
Best wishes,
Anna
Oh that's dreadful Anna. I hope the floors can be saved.:(
DeleteI love all the posts, I really enjoyed, I would like more information about this, because it is very nice. Thanks for sharing.
